From architecture that is demolished and turned into waste to architecture that is recycled
While there is a demand to extend the lifespan of buildings, there are many buildings that are demolished before they have completed their lifespan.
There are various factors that cause buildings to become incompatible with changes in the social environment and the functionality of buildings to decrease.
The reality is that buildings that are still usable are turned into trash through a huge amount of effort
Is there anything else that an architect can think of?
Can we take more ownership and responsibility for what we design?
With the desire to transform architecture into something circular, we started CIRCULUS with a small step, doing what we could ourselves.
If it is unavoidable that a building will be demolished before its useful life is over, we should prepare a path forward in anticipation of its eventual demolition.
The idea is to create a system that allows buildings to be recycled little by little, even if only in part.
With circular architecture as our keyword, we focused on plastic material recycling.

Our idea is to create the interior finishing materials, fixtures, and furniture that make up the architecture and space out of plastic, and then collect them after use, crush them, turn them back into materials, transform them into new forms, and deliver them back to our customers, thus circulating the architecture.
We use LSAM (Large Scale Additive Manufacturing) to provide one-stop service from design to manufacturing.

"From architecture that is demolished and disposed of as waste to architecture that is recycled"
This is our goal at CIRCULUS.
We use a large-scale 3D printer to create architectural spaces and fixtures from reusable synthetic resins in our own studio. After we have finished using the architectural components and furniture we create, we can crush them and recycle them into new shapes.
Eco-Friendly Design
01
Individual multi-product production
The advantage of 3D printing is that it can be created directly from 3D data. Unlike production using molds, costs do not increase even if different shapes are produced one by one, and detailed custom-made products are possible.
Eco- High-variety
small-lot production

Plastics are highly durable and easy to maintain, and have been used in a wide range of applications in architecture. There are a variety of options available, including those that are mixed with natural materials to create unique expressions, those formulated with functionality in mind, and those based on natural synthetic resins. We aim to bring out the unique qualities of the material, achieving a balance between beauty, durability, and ease of maintenance.

Design Development
We can handle projects of any scale, whether it be an integrated space design that combines interior design and architectural design supervision, or the design of a single piece of custom furniture. We combine knowledge and production using applications appropriate for the project, such as parametric design with Grasshopper and BIM architectural design with ArchiCAD. Interior design Our French Interior Architects certified by the French Council of Interior Architects can handle a wide range of fields, including interior design for hotels, stores, restaurants, and office interiors. Building design and supervision As a first-class architectural firm, we can design and supervise buildings for any purpose, including tenant buildings, cultural facilities, and private and public buildings. We can also handle large-scale projects by forming expert teams in structure, equipment, landscape design, acoustics, lighting, sign planning, FFE, etc. We can also handle designs using BIM. *Please see our office's website for examples. Design for 3D printing We can partially customize semi-order products to meet your needs. Allocation to applicable wall surfaces, redesign of end parts, customization of stacking patterns, etc. Fully custom-made: We start by listening to the customer's requests, then we plan, design, and construct from scratch. In addition to freestanding furniture, we can handle all aspects of architectural space, including built-in furniture and architectural interiors.

Additive Manufacturing
We will design the optimal cord for LSAM and create it using a large robot arm 3D printer.
If you are using more than 300 kg of material, we can also accommodate special orders for materials.
*We are currently not offering 3D printing services only.
PROJECTS
PRODUCTS
The products printed by our company are products that use raw materials in a circular manner. In order to ensure that our circular system is effective and to prevent waste generation, we aim to create a system that allows users to collect used products in simple steps that are less of a burden on them.
We place emphasis on the environmental friendliness of our products as well as their design, and propose a smart "carbon-free lifestyle."
