CIRCULUS Facade
CIRCULUS Tokyo Atelier
The facade, constructed using "KNIT," begins with a deep undulation on the left side and gradually converges into a gentle flat surface. The shadows created by the oblique light and layers give the facade the impression of a woven fabric.
3D printers excel at individual, multi-product manufacturing. Each part has a different cross-sectional shape, and we created a decorative piece with a design that appears to encase the opening with knit, taking advantage of the characteristics of 3D printing to create detailed designs.

The material used is a resin made by mixing recycled eggshells discarded during the food manufacturing process.

Scraps and other materials produced during the KNIT production process are crushed and returned to their original raw materials.
